However, please remember at all times that I have no medical qualifications and I don’t think it would be wise to base your decision to choose an ELCS or vaginal birth next time around solely on the results you read in this blog. Every woman is different and you should always discuss your situation thoroughly with your local and knowledgable medical folk.

An important factor that may influence whether or not you choose a vaginal birth in the future is whether you are experiencing ongoing symptoms from your original tear. This data was not captured explicitly in my survey although a few women did include this information within the comments at the end.
